blah blah blah

So...it has been a great week...nothing really new to say!! Track is over and I am already having competition withdrawals...I think it kept my internal competitive side at bay for awhile...however, now I feel like I need to seriously compete...in anything! haha...After a glass of wine last night I even challenged Jordon to a one on one game, a serious one, where I may have embarrassed myself just a little.  Let just say, since I was serious, so was he ;) And...now school is nearing the end and now I have to think about summer!! What am I going to do...I need a job straight away!!! SO...I have started a little side business that I hope to grow this summer helping children ages 4, 5, & 6 (I adore the little ones), get better at reading and math...it is basically tutoring, but I do not really like using that word because I am really teaching them through lesson plans and things that interest them...so if you are near me and know anyone that might be interested, please give them my info.... chelseadizon456@aol.com!.... Also, today I was quite amused when a few of the students in the class began to play "teacher" during their free time...they copied just about every single word I said today...and they even copied how I handled the discipline..."Do you need to move your card?" "If you do not listen, I will not let you out for recess"...it was hilarious...I have never laughed(internally) so hard! So, if you think kids do not hear what comes out of your mouth, and the tone in which you say it, they do...so be super careful! haha

Miracle in room 333!!!

So, it has been a long few weeks for my beautiful Aunt Harlean.  As you know she suffered a heart attack and stroke.  She had kidney failure, liver failure, a breathing tube, and a full day of open heart surgery.  What a fighter!! And within the last two days, she officially woke up!! She is off all machines besides hydration/food, and is breathing and living on her own!!! The doctors, as well as the whole hospital, know of the story in room 333.  Most of them cannot believe that she is alive.  However, we know why.  Throughout this whole entire thing we have had prayer groups all over the United States. God answers prayers.  This has been a huge eye opener for me! He has answered all of our prayers and continues to show himself through Harlean everyday.  Even nurses have told us that the praying must have helped because they are amazed!! We know he chose her for that room specifically, 333, signifying many different verses in the bible, and not to mention the trinity....to show us how miracles come true everyday!
Harlean was also an amazing friend.  She has so many friends and supporters that have been every single day.  She had 30 people in the waiting room the day of her surgery.  Every hour someone goes into see her, often times praying for her, with her, and over her!! The support has helped, and we have our beautiful aunt back!! She is a true miracle to our family!!

FEAR

What stops us from giving ourselves completely to Christ? Is it control? Is it wanting to get your own way? Or is it fear? I know for most people, it is the last one. FEAR. Fear stops us from doing the things we want in life. It can sabotage our goals, our morals, and our dreams. And to think all we have to do is give our life to Jesus and then we would never need fear again. But what is it about fear that sucks us in. Why does fear keep us from getting that job we always wanted, keep us from confronting our problems, or helping others, or most importantly, giving our life and heart to Christ. Fear enables us to be lazy and have an excuse. I know in my own life I have battled with fear in lots of things I have done or wanted to do. Fear has kept me from speaking up, asking for help, and has even made me miss out on things I have wanted to do. This I am challenging you, and myself as well, to step out of the fear and into the light!!! Whatever God is calling you to do, whatever your desire is, go out and do it! One thing I have learned in the last few weeks is life is short! And you can't accept your purpose if you are living in fear!!! Amen :)

The EveryGirl...

Okay, so although I have had a crazy week, I have still managed to get some more life-organization tasks accomplished.  After the closet, I went through my whole house and organized everything, every drawer, and every cupboard.  And amazingly it has been so much easier to manage and keep clean because everything has a place...I do not have to work as hard as I used to keep it clean....so, after this I decided to keep going!

Chapter 2: The EveryGirl Office, "The BlackBook"
Maria's Motto: ..."Your house must always have a blackbook"...this is in case of emergencies, and to make your life 100 times easier...
My work: So this was a challenging task.  It took me 2 full days to complete, but I feel so good now that I did. I already had a binder with important numbers and information on all the 100 bills we pay ;)...but now that book is on steroids.  I went to staples and got more dividers, folders, page covers, and card holders.  Once all that was in place I went to work...I copied almost everything that was in my filing system.  I printed the last few months of bills, copied important documents like passports, driver's liscences', and birth certificates, and copied everything health related.  I made pages for passwords, car info (including titles, insurance, and license numbers) bank numbers, and emergency contacts...and it turned out amazing! Really girls, do this! It will keep you so much more organized and then you always have all the information you need to reference just about anything.  I know that sometimes I'll call a company and I can't find my account number, license number...etc...not anymore!! This will come in handy when moving back and forth to Detroit, too! yay! (which, I guess, we may never get back to if the lockout never lifts!!)

Yes I know...its blue, but I didn't want to buy a new one!! haha, next step...organizing my car!

Mama's day...

So...this is what I woke up to yesturday morning...a wet nose, slobbery kiss and a card from my little boy!...However, when I tried to take it from him, he didn't want to give it up and bit me! That stinker (accident;))

* While we did celebrate mother's day yesturday, it has still been a trying time for our family.  My Aunt Harlean is still in critical condition.  Her surgery went well, but unfortunately she still needs more and is still struggling.  We appreciate all your prayers as miracles have already been done.  But, please keep praying for her, as she still needs help to get well!!

update on C & J

Okay...so its been a busy week(or 2) for the ole' C & J....

So C & J finally got their booties to a padres game... where they took the whole day to cruise around gaslamp and then finally make their way to the stadium in which they completely adored.  After a few hotdogs and beers...they cheered on their team which ended up losing..two times that night...as C & J were lucky enough to watch the last three innings of the game from the night before...here's the cute pic of the two..

Then there was Easter...It all started with C's fabulous mom and dad coming in to town...They had a few incredible nights that consisted of too much sushi and too much easter themed decor...The whole family...including lil C (Champ) headed up to LBC to celebrate the amazing holiday...and had so much fun...here is what C made for the party...
However, they celebrated even more the true meaning of Easter and living for Jesus...C found this incredible video...Carrie Underwood is amazing, listen to the ending...

After resting after such a great weekend...C & D (chelsea's mom) flew to the cold and windy Colorado Rockies...and despite the cold,..they had such a great time and got to see C's bro, Clay.  They were able to watch him kick major booty at his lacrosse game where he scored three goals!

Then...C got to hang out with one of her best friends, Kitty Kat (Kathleen) for the day and had a great time catching up... here's a pic of the two in college :)

Unfortunately, my mother's and mine trip was cut short.. as my Aunt Harlean suffered a major heart attack on Saturday night. She is stable now and we are all praying for here body to get strong as her kidneys have failed. Please, please, if you are reading this send some prayers her way :) God can do amazing things if we all have faith!
